1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Canira ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including webinar hosts ("Hosts") and webinar attendees ("Attendees").
2. Description of Service
Canira provides a web-based platform that enables users to:
- Create, host, and manage live and automated webinars
- Stream video content to multiple platforms simultaneously
- Engage with audiences through chat, polls, and Q&A features
- Collect registrations and manage attendee communications
- Access analytics and engagement metrics
- Record and store webinar content
- Generate AI-powered transcripts, clips, voiceovers, and images
3. Recording and Cloud Storage
3.1 Storage Infrastructure
When you save a recording to the cloud through Canira, the video file is uploaded to and stored on Cloudflare Stream, a third-party video hosting service, under Canira's account. Your recordings are not stored in a personal cloud storage account. Canira maintains administrative access to all recordings stored on the platform for service operation, technical support, compliance, and Terms enforcement.
3.2 Recording Consent
If you are a Host and enable recording during a live webinar, you are responsible for informing and obtaining consent from all participants in accordance with applicable laws (including two-party consent jurisdictions).Canira provides an in-webinar notification when recording is active, but Hosts bear ultimate responsibility for compliance with recording consent laws in their jurisdiction.
3.3 Content Ownership
You retain ownership of recordings you create. By storing recordings on Canira, you grant us a limited license to host, store, transcode, and deliver the content as necessary to provide the Service. We will not sell, license, or distribute your recordings to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
4. AI-Powered Features
Canira offers AI-powered features that process your content through third-party AI services:
- Transcription: Audio is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (Whisper) for speech-to-text conversion
- AI Clip Suggestions: Transcript text is analyzed by Cloudflare Workers AI to identify engaging clip moments
- Voiceover Generation: Text is sent to ElevenLabs for AI voice synthesis
- Image Generation: Prompts are sent to Google Gemini for AI image creation
By using these features, you consent to your content being processed by the respective third-party AI services. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights when processed through AI features. AI-generated outputs (transcripts, clips, voiceovers, images) are provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies.
5. Account Registration
5.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
5.2 Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
6. Subscription Plans and Payment
6.1 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for new users. At the end of the trial period, your account will be converted to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will be notified before any charges are made.
6.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the applicable fees.
6.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
6.4 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All paid subscriptions — monthly, annual, and Founding Member — come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Canira is not a fit, email us at legal@canira.io within thirty (30) days of your first payment on a given plan and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked.
The guarantee applies to your initial payment on each plan. Subsequent renewal payments (e.g., the start of a second annual term, or month-13 of a monthly subscription) are non-refundable, but you may cancel future renewals at any time from your account settings. Refunds for special circumstances outside the 30-day window may be issued at our sole discretion.
6.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation
- Transmit spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Collect or harvest user information without consent
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
8. Content and Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or transmit through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
8.3 Our Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Canira and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8.4 Copyright Infringement Claims
If you believe that content hosted on Canira infringes your copyright, please refer to our DMCA Policy for information on how to submit a takedown notice. We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
9. Communications and Messaging
9.1 Service Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us, including:
- Account notifications and security alerts
- Service updates and announcements
- Webinar reminders and notifications (if enabled)
- Billing and payment confirmations
9.2 SMS/Text Messages (A2P Messaging)
If you opt in to receive SMS notifications, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your webinars, including reminders and updates. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your preferences in your account settings.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your webinar activity. Typically, you may receive 1-5 messages per webinar event.
9.3 Marketing Communications
With your consent, we may send you marketing communications about new features, promotions, and other news. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or updating your preferences.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe)
- Streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook Live)
- Analytics services
- Communication services (e.g., Twilio)
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee any specific results from use of the Service.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANIRA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canira, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and data
- Any outstanding fees will become immediately due
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
